As we all know that books are the best friends of mankind. Books are the treasure house of knowledge.To inculcate the reading habit amongst our school children, a library is maintained with many books to this vast treasure trove of knowledge.

Technology is changing the way life functions. The advantages of Smart class :

The science laboratories provide requisite hands-on experience which is the heart of science teaching. Science teachers along with the lab assistant plan various demonstrations and experiments to ignite the curiosity and inculcate a scientific temperament in the students.

Internet-enabled computer laboratories are designed to meet the students’ Information Technology needs. Trained and experienced teachers provide both theoretical and practical lessons for students to help them navigate a rapidly changing technology driven world.

GPS takes special care for children with learning problems. If the child is suspected with a learning disability or any other behavioral problem, the teacher refers the child to the counselor, who helps him/her to adjust and in case the student needs advance treatment, parents are intimated.Counseling is a one to one dialogue between the child/student and a counselor. It can be done individually or in group. The student gets an opportunity to ventilate his/her feelings. This helps to change one’s behavior in a positive manner.

Seminars and workshops on Career Guidance are organized for the higher Secondary studentson regular basis.

School bus & van service is available for students. The school Buses & Vans serve all major residential areas of the city.

Apart from the daily snacks/ breakfast provided to the studentsupto standard V, the school has a cafeteria where students can buy snacks of their choice. The food served in the canteen is healthy and hygienic.

For working parents, GPS ensures your child is well taken care of even after school hours. Our Day Care facility keeps your child engaged with studies, fun activities and physical exercises. The Day Care facility is available only for GPS students.

Gujarat Public School knows the importance of a stress free life and so we have introduced yoga in the curriculum.. It helps you to achieve a proper balance between deeds and thoughts, food and recreation. Students are benefited with a cool peaceful mind and better concentration.
